How to Create/Delete an Email Forwarder in C Panel? Print

Forwarders allow you to automatically send a copy of an incoming email from one email address to another.

To create an email forwarder:

Log into cPanel.
In the Mail section, click Forwarders.
Under the Email Account Forwarders section, Click Add Forwarder
Type in the Address to Forward
Select a destination:

Forward to email address
Discard with error to sender (at SMTP time)
Advanced Options

Forward to a system account
Pipe to a program
Discard

Click Add Forwarder

To delete an email account forwarder or domain forwarder:

Log into cPanel.
In the Mail section, click Forwarders.
For email account forwarders:

In the Email Account Forwarder section, click Delete next to the forwarder you'd like to remove.
On the confirmation page, click Delete Forwarder.

For domain forwarders:

In the domain forwarder section, click Delete next to the forwarder you'd like to remove.
On the confirmation page, click Delete Domain Forwarder.
